This revolutionary measurement device features an integrated tilt sensor which allows collection of diameter data at any point up the stem and also determines the height at which a specific diameter is reached. The Basal Area Factor (BAF) routine indicates “In” and “Out” trees for a full range of sampling factors. In addition, the status of borderline trees can be determined by entering a distance from a rangefinder (not included) into the Criterion RD 1000 through the input serial port or manually via the keypad. A second output serial port allows for data transfer to an external data collector (not included). To improve measurement resolution at greater distances, use the included 2.4x magnifier. The in-scope LED display features variable brightness for easy reading in all lighting conditions. Water and dust resistant, the unit also features a 1/4” x 20 thread mount for attachment to a monopod or tripod. Carrying case, lens cloth, neck strap, and manual included.

D1000X Ultrasound DetectorD1000X Ultrasound Detector
The D1000X is a professional ultrasound detector, based on the latest technology. The detector has heterodyne, frequency division and time expansion systems and also a built-in 16-bit recording system using a Compact Flash card as storage medium. It is equipped with our well-known, high-quality capacitance microphone which has been further improved to give lower noise, wider dynamic range and lower distortion.
The D1000X has a built-in “recorder”, relieving the user from the hassle of operating a separate recording device or laptop with connecting cables. It can be configured to work in a variety of operating modes, but thanks to the use of “Profiles”, switching between different modes is made instantly. Each profile contains all the selectable settings such as sampling rate, triggering mode, time expansion factor and LED intensity and can be prepared in advance and saved in the detector.
At any time, either the direct ultrasonic signal, the heterodyne signal or the frequency division signal can be recorded onto the CF-card. Spoken comments can be recorded by speaking into the microphone while recording in the direct mode, or in a special comment recording mode (at a lower sampling rate). The recording time is limited only by the available space on the CF-card. Upon completion of a recording in the direct mode, the signal will be automatically replayed in time expanded form, if this function is enabled. Time expansion factors from 1 (original speed) to 30 can be chosen. The recordings can be made by manually starting and stopping the recording or through level-activated (and optional frequency selective) triggering. In the latter case, the detector can be set up for unattended capture of calls. Pre- and post-triggering modes with a variety of different settings can be used.
The wav sound files on the CF-card are stamped with date and time and can be read directly on a PC, using a standard CF-card reader. The D1000X also has a serial GPS input, making it possible to save GPS position data in the files.

The D500X Mk II is as easy to use and provides the same features as the classic D500X, with the following exceptions:
- It does not include an internal microphone. Instead it ships with an external microphone which is either directly connected to the microphone jack or through an extension cable. The microphone jack is an XLR type so no adapter cable is required.
- It is powered by 4 C type batteries which last roughly three times longer than the AA batteries used in the classic D500X.
- The jack for external power is a standard 2.5 mm DC power jack for easy connection.

Global Water Flow Probe Hand-held FlowmeterGlobal Water Flow Probe Hand-held Flowmeter, 3’ to 6’ Expandable
Ideal for storm run-off studies or flow measurings of rivers, streams, canals, and sewers. Incorporates true velocity averaging for the most accurate measurement possible. The probe shaft is available in lengths that extend from 3’ to 6’ and from 5’ to 15’. Located on the bottom tip is a protected Turbo-Prop sensor which uses the most advanced positive displacement technique available. For minimal friction, this 2” Turbo-Prop sensor rotates freely on a bearing shaft with no mechanical interconnections. Magnetic material in the propeller passes a pickup coil in the housing producing electrical impulses. These electrical impulses are then carried by wire to a readout display on top of the handle. This readout display amplifies and converts the signal into feet/meters per second readings. Instantaneous velocity and true average velocity are then displayed. A unique two-button keypad allows other functions to be displayed including minimum/maximum velocity, time-of-day, timer, totalizer for batch flows, and RPM for accurate low velocity measurement. Features a 30-record memory, padded gun-type carrying case, five-year long life battery for readout display (no battery required for Turbo-Prop), and low battery indicator. Probe can be extended up to 25’ with standard PVC pipe and electrical extension cable.
